Aarya Ganesan is a pianist, singer and music composer from Bangalore, India. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, then later moved to Bangalore at the age of 5. A keen songwriter, Aarya seeks inspiration from the world around her to create art that is fresh, honest and relevant. Her interest lying both in Indian and Western music has enabled her to discover a unique space that combines the two. Her style explores RnB, Soul and Pop with an Indian flare. She strongly expresses her identity as a proud Tamil woman through her artistry and hopes to inspire more women to pursue their artistry and share their music and stories with the world.
Aarya received her Bachelor’s Degree at Berklee College of Music, one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. She studied Film Scoring while also leading numerous shows of her own where she performed original music as well arrangements of her favorite Hindi and Tamil songs. Since graduating, she has released her music as an independent artist. Her fanbase is gradually increasing with the success of her songs like ‘Forever Ain’t Enough’ and ‘Nenjil’. She is currently collaborating with many artists and hoping to get an EP out in 2023. Currently, she is based in Bangalore and worked on the latest Mammooty film ‘Rorschach’ with music director Midhun Mukundan. She wrote, co-produced and performed three songs as part of the film’s original soundtrack. Her work on this film has received high praise from many celebrities across the film industry. She is hoping to continue making her mark in film as a music composer and songwriter.
